The Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is aimed at – and important for – every owner at a property. It is the key date on the OC calendar, and an important forum for both communication among owners and decision making.

Integral OC functions are decided and approved at the AGM, like approving the annual budget, and nominating the Committee. It is also an opportunity for owners to raise concerns, share ideas, and hear updates directly from the committee.

Too often, owners do not attend the AGM and are taken by surprise when their annual levies increase, or when a new initiative is implemented. So, if you want to have a voice, and the opportunity to contribute to your community, be sure to attend.

It’s also a good idea to familiarise yourself with discussions from recent AGMs, you can find the minutes from these meetings on the My Property portal.

You will receive an agenda and all relevant documentation at least 14 days prior to the AGM, so be sure to pop it in your calendar, and we hope to see you there!
